This is an opportunity to advance your career in a collaborative, innovative environment that values growth, learning, and sustainability.
As a Structural / Civil Engineer in our UK Facilities Project and Discipline Engineering Team, you will support multi-disciplinary studies at (typically) early project stages, helping develop offshore and onshore energy infrastructure solutions. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers within our 50+ strong multi-discipline facilities engineering team, developing innovative solutions for greenfield and brownfield energy projects, such as:
- Structural design for offshore / onshore foundations and topsides structures

- Geotechnical assessment interpretation for foundation design
- Brownfield modifications and equipment transport planning
A key part of your role will involve performing detailed structural analyses, including finite element modelling and load assessments, with particular emphasis on experience using SACS for offshore structure analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with and support the team lead for structural, civil, and marine disciplines, gaining valuable experience in project leadership and multidisciplinary coordination.

- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Demonstrated interest and early to mid-career experience in structural or civil engineering, with a strong emphasis on structural analysis
- Proven experience with SACS or similar offshore structural analysis software
- Passion for energy infrastructure and sustainable development
- Eagerness to learn and grow in structural, civil, and geotechnical engineering, including techno-economic assessments
- Strong communication skills and proactive attitude
- Professional registration or working towards professional registration is desirable
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
- Interest in developing new skills and gaining practical experience in early phase decision making
- Conceptual or pre-FEED study experience is advantageous
Why Join Us

- Exposure to innovative, high-impact projects in the energy sector
- Opportunities to develop your competencies within a collaborative, global team
- A commitment to sustainability and safety in everything we do
Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with preliminary onshore site engineering activities such as earthworks and site layout assessments
- Supporting the design of foundations and structures, including temporary works and permanent concrete and steel elements
- Gaining experience in geotechnical investigations and soils data interpretation
- Contributing to near-shore structure design, such as jetty and breakwater layouts
- Supporting planning and logistics for major equipment transport and installation
