Senior Indirect Buyer Role overview: Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will be tasked with buying, negotiating and following purchasing categories (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with the needs expressed by relevant departments across the T.EN business. We are seeking to engage with candidates who have the following background and expertise: * A Degree level qualification and solid experience in buying / procurement. * Experience under Indirect Purchasing including but not limited to hiring agency contractor / contract personnel and/or Individual contractors /contingent workers in UK region with IR35 requirements, building facilities and IT equipment procurement, capable of handling a spend map of more than 20M€ with more than 100 personnel in contracted personnel / contingent workers per year. * Demonstrable knowledge of the rules and principles of procurement. * Thorough understanding of the theory of models and tools within the procurement discipline. * Knowledge of key category suppliers and the overall market. * Familiarity with commercial terms (POs / contracts) and discipline terms & conditions. * Comprehension of local constraints & regulations. * Excellent negotiating skills. Behavioural skills should encompass: * Ability to work autonomously. * Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Demonstrably results orientated. * Must work at the highest level of integrity. * Noticeable customer orientation and focus. Role responsibilities and scope: * Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the indirect procurement manager. * Fulfils inquiries and purchasing activities within time and budget. * Assembles all information necessary for issuing an inquiry. * Expedites bids and conducts all negotiations with vendors.
