HV Engineer

  • Good working knowledge in HVAC Substation and on MV-LV switchgears.
  • Excellent understanding of substation schematics, arrangements, layouts, earthing schemes, control and protection schemes.
  • Experience in cable sizing, cable scheduling, cabling philosophy, raceway, BOQ preparation, selection of electrical components.
  • Experience with designing of LV Power boards, control & protection scheme, load schedule, supply capacity assessment, storage assessment.
  • Verification of drawings, datasheets, vendor drawings, interface drawings and adapt according to project specific requirements.
  • Experience of assisting in preparing project proposals, project documentation and project reports.
  • Experience in site coordination activities for substation projects, interaction with customer site team and internal engineering teams.
  • Good experience working with multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
  • Suggesting changes and improvements in existing procedures.
  • Experience in construction, testing and commissioning of HVDC & HVAC substation projects.
  • Experience in detailed engineering work and plant engineering.
  • Experience on conducting power system studies.

  • Should have Electrical Engineering degree with min 12-15 years of experience.
