Civil Works Supervisor – Nightshift (Contract)

We are currently seeking a Civil Works Supervisor – Nightshift, initially on a 6‑month contract (with potential for extension), reporting directly to the Construction Manager. The role is based in Teesside, NE England, and will require late shifts and occasional hybrid working while the site office is set up.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all work performed by subcontractors or direct‑hire labour forces, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
• Ensure subcontractors follow approved procedures, specifications, construction method statements and project schedules.
• Mandate that subcontractors have sufficient qualified supervision, skilled labour and plant to execute their scope safely and efficiently.
• Instruct and guide subcontractors on daily matters, and sign and authorise subcontractor day‑work sheets.
• Maintain full compliance with UK standards, rules, regulations and industrial relations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in similar positions on large‑scale construction/engineering projects in the UK.
• NEC contract exposure.
• Fluency in English; eligible to live/work in the UK.
• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
• Familiarity with NAECI agreements and UK Industrial Relations.
