We are currently seeking a Senior IP Buyer, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, to join our Procurement team based in London, England, UK.

About the mission we offer you:

The Senior IP Buyer will be tasked with buying, negotiating and following purchasing categories (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner in accordance with the needs expressed by relevant departments across the T.EN business.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the indirect procurement manager.
  • \\n

  • Request quotes and negotiate with suppliers for non-strategic categories in accordance with the delegation procedure.
  • \\n

  • Issue orders within the scope and ensure their follow-up, including the issuance of amendments if necessary (in coordination with Buyer).
  • \\n

  • Enter data into dedicated Purchasing management databases/tools: Document tracking and internal approval management, ERP (order creation and commitment tracking at the accounting level and validation of invoices), or other external platforms.
  • \\n

  • Ensure the interface with requestors and internal stakeholders (Requesting Services, Management Control, Accounting, Support Tools, GBS, and other entities of the group), or external stakeholders (suppliers if applicable).
  • \\n

  • Manage and monitor the approval flow of Purchasing deliverables (Orders, invoices, etc.).
  • \\n

  • Ensure the coordination and monitoring of GBS India's invoicing performance in accordance with the contractual conditions of the orders.
  • \\n

  • Participate in the creation and implementation of procedures and processes and their continuous improvement.
  • \\n

  • Participate in the development and support of performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring tables, statistics/activity reports of the Service, and decision support formats for this purchasing family.

About you:

  • A Degree level qualification or related industry qualifications (CIPS) and solid experience in buying / procurement.
  • \\n

  • Experience of Indirect Purchasing including but not limited to hiring agency contractor / contract personnel and/or Individual contractors /contingent workers in UK region with IR35 requirements, building facilities and IT equipment procurement, capable of handling a spend map of more than 20M€ with more than 100 personnel in contracted personnel / contingent workers per year.
  • \\n

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the rules and principles of procurement.
  • \\n

  • Thorough understanding of the theory of models and tools within the procurement discipline.
  • \\n

  • Knowledge of key category suppliers and the overall market.
  • \\n

  • Familiarity with commercial terms (POs / contracts) and discipline terms & conditions.
  • \\n

  • Comprehension of local constraints & regulations.
  • \\n

  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • \\n
