About the opportunity we offer you: The HSE Apprentice at Technip Energies is an entry-level role designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to become a competent HSE professional within the energy sector. Reporting to the Site HSSE Manager and based at the construction site, this position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience on the Net Zero Teesside Power project, supporting the delivery of safe, sustainable, and compliant operations.
Role responsibilities include:
- Participate in both on‑site and off‑site HSE training courses to build foundational knowledge.
- Conduct joint HSE inspections alongside experienced HSE personnel to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Input and maintain HSE reports and data within the project database accurately.
- Assist in preparing and distributing weekly and monthly HSE reports to Technip Energies management.
- Review subcontractors HSE metrics, compile, and analyse data to support project safety performance.
- Attend HSE meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Maintain the HSE action tracking register and organise documentation within the HSE filing system.
- Support the organization of HSE training sessions for the Technip Energies team and subcontractors, ensuring all personnel are trained and compliant.

- Must be able to work in a construction or industrial environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Minimum of three GCSEs (C Grade or higher) or equivalent qualifications.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to safety and sustainability principles.
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
- Attention to detail and a safety‑conscious mindset.
