Scope of Services
With recent project wins and anticipated near-term opportunities, Genesis is exploring the addition of PAYE fixed term , contract , and, in some cases, permanent roles across the following range of facilities engineering disciplines:
- Piping Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Instrument Engineering
- Project Engineering
- Planning
Genesis specialises in engineering, consulting, and project management services for the energy sector. Our typical projects include:
- Feasibility and Conceptual Design : Early-stage project evaluation and design optimization.
- Front End Engineering Design (FEED) : Detailed planning to define technical requirements and costs.
- Carbon Management : CO2 transport, storage, and decarbonisation solutions.
- Field Development and Decommissioning : Planning for field optimisation and asset decommissioning.
- Facilities Assessment and Life Extension : Offshore facility evaluations and life extension strategies.
- Risk, Safety, and Environmental Studies : Ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability.
- Owners Engineering (OE) Services : Technical oversight and advisory for project success.
Responsibilities
As part of the Genesis team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing discipline-specific engineering deliverables, reports, and presentations.
- Providing key engineering input for multi-discipline project scopes.
- Developing cost estimates and managing schedules for assigned activities.
- Defining project scope, including option analysis, cost estimation, risk assessment, and constructability reviews.
- Ensuring technical compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Leading relevant meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions.
What Were Looking For
- Degree-qualified and/or certification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong, relevant experience in chosen engineering field.
- Working knowledge and experience in field-specific systems, tools, and processes (e.g., instrumentation, metering, control systems, etc., for C&I Engineers).
- Experience in Concept Engineering (Front End / FEED) is essential.
- Familiarity with new energies and energy transition project development is an advantage.
- Chartered Engineering status is an advantage.
- Strong technical expertise your engineering discipline.
- Ability to drive and support discipline scope decision-making processes.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering innovative solutions.
- Location: London / Aberdeen
