Job Purpose:
This position is within the Integrity team that forms part of the Subsea maintain proper documentation and reports.
- Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to teams, liaise with operations, maintenance, and safety departments to integrate integrity practices.
- Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into integrity-related failures or incidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
- Budgeting and Resource Planning: Assist in planning and managing budgets for integrity-related projects and activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve integrity management processes, tools, and technologies.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on integrity best practices, standards, and new technologies.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Oversee external service providers and contractors involved in integrity inspections, testing, and maintenance.
Typical background and experience required:
- Essential: Proven track record in developing and implementing integrity management programs for pipelines, facilities, or similar assets. Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, mitigation strategies, and corrosion monitoring techniques. Experienced at business generation and building strong Client relationships; Proven strong technical track record in consultancy related life of field studies and integrity management and pragmatic in approach; Proven ability to lead integrity projects, manage budgets, schedules, and cross-disciplinary teams. Excellent technical reporting skills; Experience in conducting risk assessments and applying RBI methodologies to prioritize inspection and maintenance activities. Knowledge of industry standards such as API, ASME, ISO, and relevant regulations. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials; Masters degree preferred.
- Preferrable: Subsea and Topsides design experience; Corrosion engineering experience or qualification; Previous experience in Lead IM role.
