The Role: We are looking for a motivated Head of Projects, experienced within the IT Professional Services industry, who will come in and put their stamp on the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop our Projects and Program team, including Project Managers and Project Coordinators
- Define and execute best working practices and roll out Playbooks of defined and proven practices and workflows to ensure service excellence
- Responsibility for driving continuous improvement of project management processes and practices
- Hands on management and delivery of key customer projects
- Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through delivery of projects to the agreed cost, time, scope, quality and security constraints
- Provide monthly project pipeline / utilisation data to support effective business decisions
- Proactively manage customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide regular, accurate and timely client reporting to meet and exceed customer’s expectations
- Establish regular, clear and consistent channels of communication at all levels within the organisation.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in managing a Project Management team within the IT Services space is essential
- Project management qualifications such as Prince2 are essential
- Proven success in technical project delivery
- An advanced level of technical knowledge, especially with Data Centers, surrounding Networking, Storage, Infrastructure and Architecture
- Experience of leading multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to build relationships with team members across the business
- Experience of strategic/operational leadership within a growing SME would be highly advantageous.
Salary range: £80,000 - £85,000 plus discretionary bonus
