About us Technikraft design, develop and manufacture formulations for the automotive, cycling, cleaning and speciality chemical industries. From concept to finished product, we work with brands and distributors to launch products lead by sustainable performance. The role We are looking to hire a detail focussed person to join our technical team. This role primarily involves testing the products made against their specification, and making any adjustments required. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the team that guarantee the quality of the products we supply to our customers. We are open to candidates with prior experience, or those looking to start a career in a manufacturing-based laboratory. The successful candidate will also produce lab-scale samples of a wide variety of products, to support the sales process. Good communication skills, organisation and record keeping are a must. Responsibilities and Duties · Following QC procedures to test production samples · Making adjustments to production blends that do not meet QC specification · Organise and carry out product testing e.g. performance, stability, compatibility, competitor analysis · Review alternative raw materials for use in production · Data entry of QC results to the computer system · Prepare and despatch samples to the customer · General upkeep and tidiness of the lab · Calibrating test equipment according to procedures · Support investigations into non-conforming materials · Making and sending product samples · Assist R
