Role Description The Maintenance Manager role at Technikraft is a full-time, on-site position based in Goole. The Maintenance Manager oversees daily maintenance operations, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safe plant performance.
Responsibilities include
- Lead and develop a safety-first engineering culture
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, OEE and productivity
- Oversee preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance activities
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement sustainable solutions
- Manage maintenance budgets, contractors and spare parts strategies
- Develop engineering capability through coaching, training and performance management
- Work in partnership with Operations to deliver site-wide performance improvements
- Lead engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Maintenance Management and Supervisory Skills, with experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating daily activities.
- Hands-on Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair capabilities for production machinery and facility systems.
- Engineering qualification (Degree, HND or equivalent)
- Significant maintenance or engineering leadership experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar industrial environment
- A proven track record of improving reliability, uptime and operational performanceExperience leading and developing engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of planned maintenance systems and CMMS platforms
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with maintenance documentation, work order systems, and basic maintenance-related data analysis.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, safe working practices, and compliance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in chemical, manufacturing, or process industry environments is advantageous.
