Due to continued growth we are actively looking for a CNC Operator / Manufacturing Operative to join our small team at our workshop near Foveran.
Ideally you will be experienced in the operation of a high end CNC panel router such as AXYZ / Tekcel with a working knowledge of Vcarve software.
Due to working in a small team this is a varied role with a mix of duties, you will be primarily responsible for the accurate cutting of various materials by CNC process however will also be involved in product assembly such as bonding / gluing of materials and surface preparation.
Key Skills Required:
Previous experience in the operation of a CNC panel router.
Be physically fit and active for manual handling of materials.
Perform work to high level of accuracy.
Ability to read technical drawings
Ability to use measuring tools such as vernier calipers to perform dimensional control.
Ability to solve problems if problem are faced.
Possess a high attention to detail.
Flexible attitude including the willingness to work on different tasks as the company requires - working overtime as and when required.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy during production.
Full UK driving license.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
