Senior Digital IC Design Engineer - Cambridge - Full product lifecycle
A leading semiconductor company is looking for a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer to play a key role in the development of its ASIC products as they look to continue the growth of the Cambridge Centre of Excellence.
This is an opportunity to lead digital IC development from architecture through to production, while influencing design methodology and mentoring fellow engineers.
What you'll do as a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer:
- Develop digital blocks and mixed-signal ASICs from concept to production
- Design RTL in SystemVerilog to meet system requirements
- Create verification environments, behavioural models and regression test benches
- Support synthesis, physical implementation and timing closure activities
What you'll bring as a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer:
- Strong expertise in RTL design and fully synthesised digital design flows
- Deep knowledge of SystemVerilog and digital EDA tools
- Experience with DFT methodologies
- Understanding of physical implementation, constraints and place‑and‑route flows
- Knowledge of low‑power digital design techniques
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as TCL and Python
