A growing semiconductor company that operates in the optoelectronic/photonic space is seeking a Lead Applications Engineer to support its ever‑growing customer base on a technical level, whilst leading and mentoring the wider Applications team.
What you'll do as a Lead Applications Engineer:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a global applications engineering team
- Own and drive customer technical support and application strategy
- Resolve complex customer issues and support design‑in opportunities
- Lead technical engagements, including design reviews, prototyping, and troubleshooting
- Feed customer insights into product roadmap and technical definition
- Manage team priorities, resources, and customer SLAs
