Opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic trainee engineer to join our friendly team to work in a fast-paced environment supporting lead engineers in carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance whilst receiving onsite training for multiple types of systems in conjunction with relevant industry training courses.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career within the life safety industry. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge while training from systems manufacturer training, achieving industry-leading qualifications in relation to Fire Alarms, AOV’s, Dampers, Security Systems, Portable Fire Extinguishers and Suppression Systems.

Job Description And Primary Responsibilities

  • Full training will be provided.
  • Carry out under the guidance of the lead engineer, scheduled & reactive maintenance in an efficient manner.
  • Effectively communicate with your lead engineer and our customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status.
  • Liaise & co-operate with the lead engineers and service coordinators to ensure the needs of our customers are met.
  • Be responsible for stock, tools & equipment issued.
  • Operate within the requirements of company Quality Assurance & Health & Safety policies.
  • Good communication skills; verbal & written.
  • When training has been provided, ensure that it is attended and knowledge used to improve personal skills and technical ability.
  • Hold a Full UK driving license and means of transport.
