Overview

Trainee Refrigeration & HVAC Field Service Engineer – Central Scotland. Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 + overtime + standby allowance.

What We Offer

  • Full training and development provided, with opportunities to progress into a qualified engineer role
  • Competitive base salary of £28,000 – £30,000
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates: Weekday: single time; Saturday: 1.5x; Sunday: 2.0x
  • 1 in 4 weekend standby rota (additional standby allowance paid)

Requirements

  • Some experience with electrical fault finding (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (clean)
  • A good attitude to work, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Role

  • Assisting with the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems
  • Carrying out electrical testing and fault-finding on equipment
  • Working closely with experienced engineers while you build your skills and knowledge
  • Supporting with callouts on a 1 in 4 weekend rota (once trained)
