Hours: Sunday: 06.00am - 14.30pm, Monday: 06.00am - 18.30pm, Tuesday: 06.00am - 18.30pm and Thursday: 06.00am - 16.30pm
Company: A heavy plant manufacturing company who offers challenging and rewarding careers to Engineers, are looking for an individual, mechanically trained, who wants to be part of an established, loyal and successful team.
Great shift pattern working days only, with a great salary and opportunity for someone who is interested in carrying some responsibility. They also offer opportunities to take on further training and complete qualifications as you grow and progress in the role and company.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Manager, your role will include supportive maintenance across a good and interesting mix of equipment and machinery.
- 75% of your work is planned preventative, project and continuous improvement work.
- 25% is reactive, attending to and resolving breakdowns.
- Working across a range of work including belts, bearings, chains, motors, gears, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
- If you hold electrical qualifications you will also cover this too; contactors, control panels etc.
- Help support continuous improvements to machinery, planned shutdowns.
- You will be given a company mobile phone to access maintenance system app, used to help you access outstanding jobs, pass on information such as completed jobs, troubles encountered and uploading/downloading diagrams etc.
Requirements:
- Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship or similar.
- Experienced in a similar line of work and environments; industrial and/or manufacturing (automated).
- Multi Skilled Engineer and holding some qualification in both mechanical and electrical is preferred but by no means essential.
- Machinery maintenance experience.
- Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in.
- Friendly and adaptable working attitude.
- Enjoys working or is happy to work in a heavy plant environment.
