Type: Permanent

Salary: ÂŁ48,000 - ÂŁ58,000 Per Annum (plus overtime and benefits)

Hours: Monday to Friday, weekly rotation of; 6:15am till 2:45pm (1:45pm on Friday) and 2:15pm till 10:45pm (8:45pm on Friday)

Location: Commutable from Crawley, Petworth, Horsham, Worthing, Dorking, East Grinstead, Midhurst, and surrounding areas

Working within a small team you will benefit from a close bond with other engineers and staff, have your voice heard on changes and improvements, and work in a role that is both varied, challenging and rewarding. No day will ever be the same and those who enjoy a variety of work from dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems and planned preventative maintenance, to assisting with new installations and project work - this is just the job for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance of all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, breakdowns and project work.
  • Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and planning maintenance around them also.
  • Support the Engineering Maintenance department, and those less experienced.
  • Cover and deal with both mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Help meet the maintenance objectives of the department.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams.
  • Help identify and offer solutions to ongoing maintenance issues.
  • To be actively involved in the development of the PPM program.
  • Complete maintenance paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Engineer, Electrical and Bias, or Multi Skilled.
  • Background in either electrical maintenance or service work within an industrial or manufacturing environment, looking after machines.
  • Electrical experience of “SOME” of the following; 3 phase, control panels, inverters, contactors, relays, AC / DC motors, PLC’s, sensors etc.
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger and desire to help shape the future of the company.
  • Those wishing to be considered for the Lead Electrical role must carry experience and confidence, specifically of faultfinding and dealing with technical issues.
