We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor to work within a fast-paced factory environment. This is a hands-on role, with a rough split of 60 - 70% hands-on and 40 - 30% management. Your role is to support, complete and coordinate all maintenance activities in the factory including repairs that are completed quickly and efficiently, proactive maintenance being carried out, and various projects.

The Role

  • Hands on and complete various maintenance tasks including breakdown repairs and PPM's.
  • Motivate and lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers.
  • Coordinate and champion the Planned Preventive Maintenance system.
  • Coordinate various projects and contractors, as and when required.
  • Help support continuous improvements in the factory.
  • Take an active role in reporting on maintenance.

Requirements

  • Experienced Maintenance Engineer who has leadership / supervisory experience or you are ready for the next step.
  • Qualified in 'either' mechanical or electrical engineering or similar.
  • Mechanical OR Electrical OR Multi Skilled - hiring manager is open to any bias.
  • Experienced in completing repairs and general factory maintenance to machinery and/or equipment.
  • Ideally have SOME experience of motors, bearings, chains, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, control panels.
  • Holding passion, drive and love for Engineering.
