Salary: £38,000 to £41,000 per annum plus benefits and training opportunities

Location: Commutable from Stockport, Macclesfield, Warrington, Northwich, Middlewich, Knutsford and surrounding areas

Company: We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a global company at one of their new factories. The site has been open for around 2 years. You will be turning your hands to new machinery in a varied role and in a very small team. Working within this large company you will have plenty of scope and opportunities to progress your career, up-skill and gain further qualifications, should this interest you. They have an internal and external training platform to help people grow in such areas including electrical, mechanical, multi skilled, leadership and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electro and mechanical maintenance work across the factory, and you are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side in mechanical engineering if electrical bias.
  • You will benefit from a modern, clean and new factory environment, backed by a large company who have a history of investing in their Engineers and progression opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Maintenance or Service background in a similar environment, such as industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc.
  • Completed a recognised mechanical or electrical engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification.
  • Some/ANY of the following experience; PLCs, filter air components, motors, sensors, autoclaves, belts, bearings, chains, gear boxes, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
  • Good fault-finding skills.
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude.
  • Keenness to learn, settle and build a bright future - joining a brand new factory and helping to shape its future.
