Salary: Competitive salary dependant on experience, potential overtime paid at £27.00 per hour plus additional benefits.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week (Friday early finish). Start & finish times flexible.
Location: Commutable from Wokingham, Bracknell, Reading, Finchampstead, Arborfield Green and surrounding areas.
Company: We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder Fabricator to work within a family run business at their large site. The company has been running for over 60 years and is well known within the precision engineering industry. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team working in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- TIG Welding and Fabrication
- Working from drawings and assembly instructions.
- Assess equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods.
- Working with materials - sheet metal work - Steel and aluminium.
- Cut materials using different methods.
- Variation of orders, currently working on a large order for clients in the USA.
- Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned etc.
- Follows safety protocol, including wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and appropriate extraction.
Requirements:
- Experienced in Fabrication and Welding, 5+ years of TIG (essential) and MIG welding (desirable).
- Experience in both small / large fabrications.
- Physically fit and keen to get stuck in and get your hands dirty.
