Job Description
Role:Stores Person / Stores Controller / Stock ControllerSalary : £27,000 to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience + Bonus + Benefits (25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, life assurance, pension)Hours : Monday to Friday, 6:30am till 3:15pm (6am till 1pm on Friday)Location : Commutable from Aldershot, Farnborough, Guildford, Basingstoke, Camberley and surrounding areasResponsibilitiesWe are looking for someone with stores/stock control experience in a factory environment.You will be responsible for the smooth flow of materials in and out of the unit. Take accountability of the workshop and be the go-to personReceiving and booking in of raw material, inspecting it for damages before accepting it and processing delivery notes.Responsible for raising job cards for shop floor and cross-referencing material certificates for compliance in conjunction with Inspection.Ensuring accuracy in all operations relating to materials handling (including servicing shop floor material demands, booking in/out activities).Responsible for material preparations (billet/bar form). Servicing shop floor material demands.Responsible for dealing with general email queries.Ensure the skips are emptiedConduct hardness testing for material conformity from received goods.Responsible for early-stage Sub Con organisation (raw material).Responsible for Stock Control and Bi-Annual Stock Take.Moving parts and suppor t ing expeditor when requiredEnsure that all logbooks (Forklifts) are completed daily/weeklyWork in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company.Coordinates with fellow team members, managers, and directors.Skills and Qualifications/experience:ERP and Microsoft experienceForklift licence; refresher course or training can be providedDriving Licence requiredExcellent communication skillsPositive can-do attitudeExcellent organizational skillsCan work independently.Health & Safety MindsetManual handling stock skills and comfortable being on feet most of the dayHardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to workIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Jane at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
