Stores Controller

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.00am – 17.00pm
Location: Commutable from Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Tamworth and surrounding areas

About the Role

As Stores Controller you will primarily be responsible for the development and upkeep of the store\’s areas on site. You will also assist in the development of the health and safety systems for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Be the sole person to manage stores on-site.
• Ensure stores stocks are readily available to deliver high levels of plant reliability
• Help to support planned shut downs and coordinate all stores availability.
• Purchase order analysis / manage revenue within the confines of budget limits.
• Inputting stock onto their I.T system.
• Unloading / loading goods and allocate to the correct locations via use of Forklift – counter balance
• Provide support with contractor control / monitoring.

Requirements

• Experience of Stores or similar
• Forklift experience and/or license
• Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Team player as you will work closely with all of the maintenance department.
• Good exposure to health & safety standards
• IT skills
