Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - NO WEEKEND WORKING
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6.00pm to 6.00am (nights) and Thursday, 6.00pm to 1.00am (39 HOURS)

Location: Commutable from Barton upon Humber, Hull, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Beverley and surrounding areas

You must be willing to get your hands dirty in a heavy plant environment and not be averse to training and developing your skills. If you’re qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or freshly out of an apprenticeship and have experience in any of the following, please apply; welding, bearings, shafts, lathes, mills, motors, pumps, belts, chain drives etc. Ideally in some form of maintenance or fitting role but any would be considered.
Responsibilities:
- This is a permanent Nights Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position, working 39 hours per week - set at Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6.00pm to 6.00am (nights) and Thursday, 6.00pm to 1.00am, so Friday, Saturday and Sundays are all yours to relax!
- Your role will include:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery.
- Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts.
- Assist in developing the agility maintenance system.
- Ensure machine safety standards are upheld and critical spares are maintained.
Requirements:
- Completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical, Electrical Engineering qualifications.
- Experience with mechanical or electrical maintenance work within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
- Any experience of belts, chains, bearings, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, workshop skills (lathes and/or mills) would be desirable; training and support can be given on some areas.
- Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in.
- Friendly and adaptable working attitude.
