We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Either Bias) to work within a fast-paced production environment where much of the machinery is large and often automated.
You will benefit from working as part of a friendly team of Maintenance Engineers working across planned preventative maintenance and responding to Electrical and Mechanical breakdowns. Working within this company you will have opportunities to progress your knowledge & career through up-skilling and for those that are interested, gaining further qualifications.
As a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer within this production environment, both electrical & mechanical bias candidates are equally of interest.
Responsibilities:
- The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be covering both electrical & mechanical maintenance work across the factory, providing a fast response to any breakdowns and undertaking Planned Preventative Maintenance.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a production or manufacturing environment is ideal, however for those with a great attitude to learning, the manager would also consider those with a Maintenance or Servicing background in any environment including motor vehicles, Armed Forces (RAF, ARMY, NAVY), industrial, manufacturing, production or automation.
- You will need to have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualification at NVQ/C&G Level 3 or above.
- Knowledge or experience of some of the following: motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
- Good fault-finding skills.
- Friendly and adaptable working attitude.
- Proactive approach to work and keen to get your hands dirty.
- The ability to work effectively as part of the Maintenance team.
