Role: Maintenance Engineer - either bias welcome - electrical or mechanical

Salary: £43,000 to £46,000 per annum plus benefits and further training and progression opportunities

Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotation of days & nights

Location: Commutable from Anstey, Glenfield, Leicester, Groby and surrounding areas

Company: We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a large industrial company at one of their leading and flagship automated factories. Recently a large and multi-million pound investment has been spent and new machinery commissioned into the factory. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of Engineers working in this fast-paced environment. You will also benefit from opportunities to gain further qualifications, developing more skills and building a career within this large company. For the right person, they have structured and tailored training opportunities to complete various electrical/mechanical courses. As well as this, they have genuine opportunities for progression and development with a lot of success stories.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the production machinery including reactive, trouble-shooting and repair tasks
  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • New installations and refurbishments

This would suit Maintenance Engineers who like variation, to work across a range of machinery and equipment, who aren’t afraid to apply themselves and learn.

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification
  • Background and experience in maintenance or service work in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Have ANY of the following experience; conveyors, packaging, bearings, belts, 3 phase, motors, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc. - any of these will be considered
  • Friendly and adaptable working attitude
  • Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
