The predicted salary is between 46500 - 46500 £ per year.

Salary: £43,000 to £46,500 per annum, plus benefits and further training and up-skilling opportunities

Hours: Monday to Friday, rotation of earlies, afternoons and nights - 6am till 2:30pm / 2pm till 10:30pm / 10pm till 6:30am

Location: Commutable from Spennymoor, Durham, Darlington, Staindrop, Sedgefield, Bishop Auckland and surrounding areas

We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer, either Mechanical, Electrical or Multi Skilled, to work within a large international company at one of their leading factories. You will benefit from opportunities to enhance your learning and growth by taking advantage of the internal and external training on offer, to become a better and more rounded electro-mechanical engineer. It is to work in a small team of 8 Engineers, 2-3 per shift, dealing with a variety of work - planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, complete various projects and installations.

The Role Responsibilities include undertaking planned maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, delivering equipment upgrades, new installations and infrastructure changes, together with building maintenance as and when required. This is a multi-skilled environment, however either bias is welcome as help and training is offered.

Requirements:

  • A background in Maintenance engineering in any environment, such as industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services or similar type production/manufacturing environments.
  • Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications ie. NVQ or C&G Level 3 in mechanical, electrical or multi-skilled.
  • Enjoy good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, boilers, pumps, inverters, sensors, relays, contactors, 3 phase motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics or similar.
  • Either mechanical, electrical or multi skilled with the willingness to learn and be part of a great small team.
