Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts of days and afternoons

Company: We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Fitter or Electrical) to work within a large company at one of their successful production factories near Kendal. Responsibilities: Maintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electro-mechanical maintenance work across the factory and you are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side, whether this be mechanical or electrical. Your main and primary role is supporting all production machinery. Also working through planned preventative maintenance and undertaking project work too such as new installations etc.
Requirements: Maintenance or Service Engineer background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc. Have good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across some of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems etc. Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team. Proactive, self-starter work attitude and can be flexible and able to give & take on start & finish times when necessary. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety instructions and the Health and Safety manual & relevant engineering standards.
