Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm (8 hours per day) - must be flexible
Location: Commutable from Oxford, Northampton, Coventry, Birmingham, Chipping Norton, Brackley and surrounding areas
Company: We are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity on behalf of a reputable and global machine manufacturing company who are looking for a Commissioning and Maintenance Supervisor to be out on sites to help support the delivery, installation and handover of the projects across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support to technicians and subcontractors during service activities
- Lead complex fault finding, diagnostics, and resolution of technical issues
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards, procedures, and safety requirements
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues arising in the field
- Actively perform field service duties including installation, commissioning, breakdown response, fault diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain regular presence on customer sites to support operational delivery and lead by example
- Support planning and execution of service jobs to ensure efficient delivery
- Act as a central coordination point between field teams, service support, and management
- Monitor job progress and maintain alignment with agreed timelines
- Identify risks, delays, or constraints early and take proactive action
- Prioritise workloads in line with operational demands
Requirements:
- Qualified Engineer, ideally through an apprenticeship. We welcome applications from Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Team Leaders, Maintenance Manager, Field Service, Commissioning Engineers, Installation Engineers etc.
- Experience of working in industrial or manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiar with machinery service and/or maintenance.
- Leadership experience would be highly desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Happy with Travel.
