Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 4:30pm (7:00am till 12:00pm on Fridays)

Salary: £48,000 to £50,000 per annum, plus benefits and further training and up-skilling opportunities.

Location: Commutable from Camberley, Aldershot, Farnham, Guildford and surrounding areas.

We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a small and well-established team and company. You will benefit from opportunities to enhance your learning and growth by taking advantage of the internal and external training on offer, to become a better and more rounded Engineer. It is to work in a small team of 2 Engineers completing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns and completing various projects and installation work. It is varied, fun and enjoyable.

If you are a qualified engineer, either mechanical or electrical, with experience of maintenance or service work in a machinery environment, wanting a role and opportunity where you can be given genuine opportunities to grow your skills and be part of a great team, look no further and apply now!

Ideally, you will be multi-skilled, with a minimum split of 80/20. This is a place where you will be seen, respected and heard. Team fit and attitude is huge! The Role

Responsibilities include undertaking planned maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, delivering equipment upgrades, new installations and infrastructure changes, together with building maintenance as and when required. It is a multi-skilled environment, and whilst it is not essential, having someone from an environment where they’ve supported both would be advantageous.

Requirements

  • A background in Maintenance engineering in any environment, such as manufacturing, production, industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services or similar type production/manufacturing environments.
  • Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications i.e. NVQ or C&G Level 3 or similar.
  • Having experience and skills across SOME of the following: motors, belts, bearings, chains, gear boxes, sensors, relays, contactors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics.
  • Great attitude with the genuine desire to settle and be part of a great small team.
  • Highly adaptable and happy to turn their hands to all areas.
