We are recruiting for a reputable Manufacturer who are looking for a Quality Manager who is committed and wanting a genuine challenge and opportunity to get their teeth into. We require someone who is hands on that will take ownership for the site's Quality and Compliance of Standards. If you thrive on a challenge and have any experience in Quality Management and standards including ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001, this would be the perfect role and opportunity for you! The role is rather autonomous and you will be the go-to for all and anything quality related and therefore carries a high degree of responsibility.
The Quality Manager will drive quality improvement and awareness activity ensuring that a high standard of customer focus is maintained, playing a key role in the local management team. The role is hands on and will partake in regular testing of the products to ensure quality standards are maintained.
The primary objective of the role is to ensure that the critical quality processes are maintained, mitigating any potential for a quality escape from the site. They shall collaborate with the site management to deliver a Zero Tolerance on quality fundamentals and work towards improved process capability. They will proactively audit these processes to ensure compliance and delivery of the customer requirements for the products produced.
Requirements:
- Experienced Quality Manager or Technical Manager or Quality Supervisor who is looking for their next career move.
- Must have experience of working in a similar role, Manufacturing - Most considered including Automotive, Building & Construction Materials, Chemical, Aerospace, Plastics etc.
- Familiar with Quality Standards and Compliance and Audits.
- Experience of root cause analysis and continuous improvement experience.
- Familiar with ISO standards - Any of them are welcome.
- Great working attitude who enjoys and wants to be part of a family-feel team.
