Position: CNC Turner - Programme/Setter/Operator
Salary: £18- £21.00 per hour. Overtime available at enhanced rates.
Hours: Mon - Thursday- 16.00pm - 23.00pm, Friday -12:30pm - 22.00pm.
Location: Commutable from St Albans, Watford, Chesham, Amersham, Hemel Hempstead.
Company: An established manufacturing company who precision machined parts and solutions to various industries, mainly Aerospace, are on the lookout for a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter Operator who is looking for a new opportunity. Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC Turning machines (Fanuc controls) to tight aerospace tolerances.
- Work with premium materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, Nylon.
- Accurately record job timings in the ERP system.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization (6S).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years proven experience in CNC Turning within aerospace or other high-precision sectors.
- Skilled in setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances.
- Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience.
- CAD/CAM familiarity is a plus, but not essential.
