We are supporting a specialist manufacturer of elastomer mouldings in their search for a Tool Maker to join their engineering team in Bordon. This site is part of a larger global group known for high-performance solutions across multiple technical industries.
The Role
As a Tool Maker, you will be involved in the production, modification, and maintenance of precision injection, compression, and transfer moulding tools. You'll be hands-on in the toolroom, working with a variety of manual and CNC machinery, supporting production with bespoke tooling solutions and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, repair, and maintain injection and compression mould tools.
- Operate manual and CNC toolroom machinery.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD data to produce high-precision components.
- Contribute to tooling improvements and support production engineering teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Tool Maker or in a precision machining/toolroom role.
- Strong hands-on machining skills and an ability to work independently.
- Experience in high-tolerance manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD files.
- A keen eye for quality, accuracy, and safe working practices.
