This is a hands-on engineering role focused on fault-finding, maintenance and technical support of specialist vacuum, gas sampling and nuclear monitoring systems. The position combines UK-wide field service with workshop-based engineering, commissioning and testing.
You will spend the majority of your time working from the workshop, with UK site work around six weeks per year, all planned in advance.
The role is ideally suited to an engineer with a strong background in electrical, control and instrumentation systems, particularly within complex or regulated environments.
Key responsibilities include:- Fault-finding and repair of specialist engineering systems
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Commissioning and testing of equipment
- Field service support across UK customer sites

- Full UK driving licence
