Techniche Global is supporting a leading engineering and technology company based in Stafford in appointing an experienced Logistics Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional with strong import/export and customs compliance experience to join a busy international supply chain team.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in logistics, import/export, or customs coordination
- Strong knowledge of UK customs procedures and import/export documentation
- Good understanding of Incoterms 2020 and Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs)
- Experience managing exports to Europe via road freight and courier services
- Ability to liaise effectively with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate export shipments across Europe
- Manage import clearances and customs documentation
- Arrange customer returns and inbound logistics activities
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures
- Monitor shipments and resolve any delivery issues
- Support continuous improvement of logistics processes
Contract Details:
- Office-based in Stafford
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am–1:30pm (flexibility available)
- Initial contract through to the end of the year, with strong likelihood of extension
