We are supporting a specialist Manufacturing Improvement Consultancy in their search for a Site Manager to oversee onsite operations, customer relationships and operational performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations or site management professional to lead onsite teams, drive process improvements and ensure the successful delivery of contractual obligations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Role:
- Onsite Operations Management – Managing onsite operations and leading the delivery of customer-focused services in line with contractual requirements.
- Team Leadership – Supporting, mentoring and developing onsite teams to drive performance and operational excellence.
- Customer Relationship Management – Building and maintaining strong customer relationships at a local operational level.
- Process Improvement – Leading process adherence activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operational Communication – Coordinating communication between site teams, operations managers, key account managers and customers.
- Meeting & Schedule Coordination – Leading local meeting schedules and operational review cadences with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Commercial Support – Supporting quotation processes and ensuring commercial alignment across operations.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Maintaining health & safety standards and ensuring training requirements are met.
- KPI & Performance Management – Managing operational KPIs including delivery, profitability, customer satisfaction, cost savings and inventory performance.
- Supplier & Issue Management – Managing supply base relationships and supporting high-level customer and vendor issue resolution.
- Performance Reviews – Conducting performance reviews and supporting the ongoing development of onsite staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within site management, operations management or supply chain operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of operational performance metrics.
- Experience managing customer relationships within operational or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
