We are supporting a well-established controls and automation business in their search for a Project Manager to join their team in Aberdeen. This is a permanent position. The company is keen to move quickly following final approval.
The Role
This is a site-based, office-led role managing both small and large-scale engineering projects. You will coordinate technical teams, manage customer and supplier relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will play a key role in project delivery—driving execution, ensuring effective planning, and acting as the central point of contact across internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ engineering experience, with proven project management capability
- Background delivering PLC / control systems projects (you don’t need to be a technical SME, but must understand and manage controls scope)
- Strong stakeholder coordination and project lifecycle management skills
- Prior exposure to functional safety, support/service contracts or people responsibility within project teams is beneficial
- Will also consider Senior / Lead Control Systems Engineers who have stepped into project management responsibility
Package
Permanent role, full-time (primarily office-based in Aberdeen, with some flexibility). Salary: £50,000-£75,000 depending on experience. Opportunity to join a well-established engineering business with strong project pipelines and industry reputation.
