They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team at their Croydon-based site.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of industrial equipment, including steam boilers, thermal oil heaters, high-pressure compressors, extrusion equipment, and pressure vessels. You will carry out electro-mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities to ensure the plant operates efficiently and reliably. - Take defective plant offline when necessary to ensure safe operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience within the UK.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering, ideally with exposure to both.
- Experience working with pressure systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and SCADA/automation systems.
- Proficient in fault finding, maintenance, and small modifications to PLCs (Siemens or Mitsubishi preferred).
- Ability to read technical drawings and work both independently and within a team.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
What's On Offer:
- Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- Shifts: Permanent role working on a Panama shift pattern.
- Benefits: 23 shifts holiday, company pension, annual bonus, share purchase scheme, life assurance, and more.
- Location: Croydon-based site with exposure to a wide range of industrial equipment and processes.
