Manufacturing Engineer

Techniche Global  are supporting leading electronics manufacturer in  Andover, Hampshire  to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer The role is to coordinate and carry-out engineering activities to ensure the requirements for a product line or product group are met and complied with, in terms of forecasted output, product quality, adherence to specification and on time delivery. Responsibilities: Assist senior engineers and management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects. Communicate with project stake-holders the status of assigned tasks. Collect, present and analyse data for reports submitted for the purpose of project evaluation, Work alongside other manufacturing engineers and more junior or graduate engineers on joint tasks; day-to-day tasks, medium/long-term projects, training, mentoring and development. Develop processes and ensure best possible quality and reduce waste; increase efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout, identify, measure, monitor and report on process indicators or other measurables to help drive improvement. Use of documented Standard Operating Procedures, Process Capability and Gauge R&R to continuously verify and validate manufacturing processes.
