Techniche is supporting a fast-growing Cooling and Heating hire company, as they seek a HVAC Service Engineer/Service and Maintenance Depot Engineer at their site in Eastleigh.
In this role you will be working alongside their warehouse team and other Engineers who play a key role in helping deliver high levels of service and equipment to their customers all over the UK.
Experience:
- Good understanding of electrical controls and able to follow and understand electric wiring diagrams
- Previous experience of electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
- PAT testing experience – (training can be provided)
- Good computer skills to manage repair equipment on management software
Responsibilities:
- Testing and fault-finding equipment from returned hire contracts.
- Service depot equipment - AC & heating equipment (training will be provided)
- PAT testing equipment.
- Placing orders for electrical components from suppliers.
- Support electrical R&D projects.
The role is Monday – Friday days with limited overtime available at 1.5X basic rate. Salary on offer is £30-35,000 dependant on experience, plus additional benefits.
