We are working with a global Software, Systems & Engineering company in the Defence Sector, supporting them with appointing a Cyber Operations Specialist who will join a team providing cutting edge solutions. Day-to-day, you will be working within a team who work with the latest innovations, providing solutions to complex problems. Salary: £45-85k per annum Location: Malvern or Cheltenham- hybrid (4 days per week onsite; 1-day WFH) Working hours: 37 per week Requirements: active eDV clearance Essential experience: A good understanding of national security expectations and personal security behaviours Excellent self and cultural awareness with a flexible and adaptable attitude The ability to translate between different and conflicting cultures Previous experience working in a collaborative and mission focused team with the ability to work in demanding real-time operational mission environments A good awareness of digital technology, cyber security and UK cyber strategy The ability to be proactive and take carefully judged initiatives at the right moments Previous experience of working in a national security environment/culture Defence experience or experience of working in cultures driven by mission focus and expertise Prior experience of cyber operations Ability to understand synthetic environments, modelling and simulation Previous war gaming experience The Company values difference and they don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then they would like to hear from you.
