Techniche Global are recruiting for a Coordinating Authorised Person to support a leading defence and technology organisation across multiple sites in Scotland. This is a field-based role covering MOD and operational sites across Southern, Central, and Eastern Scotland, with occasional travel to more remote locations. The position offers a high degree of flexibility.
The Role
- You will act as the Coordinating Authorised Person across multiple sites, supporting safe systems of work, compliance, and operational assurance.
- You’ll provide technical guidance, oversee compliance with procedures (e.g. permits to work, audits), and act as a mentor to site-based personnel.
- You will report into a Senior Authorised Person and play a key role in maintaining high safety and compliance standards across complex engineering environments.
Requirements
- Background in electrical engineering or Authorised Person duties
- Experience with safe systems of work, permits, and compliance processes
- Knowledge of HV/LV systems preferred (other disciplines considered: mechanical, hazardous areas, confined spaces)
- Strong understanding of health & safety and regulatory compliance
- UK nationality (or dual nationality with British passport) required for security clearance
