Techniche Global are supporting a specialist manufacturer of laboratory equipment with the appointment of a Production Technician to join their manufacturing team in Bury St Edmunds.
Salary in the region of £26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience.
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch).
Full training provided.

This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, supporting the assembly and inspection of high-tech equipment. Training will be provided on specific methods and assembly techniques, but previous production or mechanical assembly experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Mechanical assembly of equipment and components
- Wiring harness connection, crimping and soldering
- Assembly of small tubing and fittings
- In-process inspection and quality checks
- Supporting fault finding and continuous improvement activities
- Managing workload to meet production targets
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good organisational skills and willingness to learn
