About the Department

This is an excellent opportunity to join the technical team in the School of Media, Communications and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths. MCCS is one of the leading media departments of its kind in the world, combining theory and practice across its diverse array of degree programmes.

About the Role

You will operate the main kit store, facilitating bookings and loans of portable video, audio and lighting equipment, advising students on correct handling and appropriate use of equipment, carrying out maintenance, and following up on late returns and repairs. The post is 0.8 FTE, working 4 days per week [Mon – Thu].

About the Candidate

You have lots of experience working with camera, sound and lighting kit and are passionate about working with students, enthusiastic about learning new skills, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment. This role will not be eligible for a skilled worker visa certificate of sponsorship.
