The University of Birmingham invites applications for a 12‑month research fellow to develop systems for acoustic levitation, generation, and manipulation of droplets in 3D by shaping ultrasound waves.

You will design, build, and test ultrasonic and high‑voltage systems, perform finite element modelling (COMSOL), integrate optical detection and analytical instrumentation, supervise students, and contribute to publications and conferences.
