The Department of Engineering Science at Oxford invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Thermodynamics at the Nanoscale, a full-time fixed-term appointment for 1 year in Professor Ares’s research group. The role focuses on experimental quantum thermodynamics, cryogenic experiments, and developing quantum devices.

The successful candidate will have a PhD/DPhil, strong research creativity, and the ability to secure grant funding.
