The Department of Engineering Science at Oxford is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Impact and Shock Mechanics group. The position is funded by ATi/Innovate UK and Rolls-Royce and is fixed-term to October 2029.

You will develop bespoke high-rate experimental techniques and cutting-edge simulation tools to advance predicting the performance of 3D woven composite materials for aeroengines, contributing to external collaborations and publishing in high-impact journals.
