The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join the UKRI-funded ERC advanced grant project EVOCATE. The role focuses on understanding glucomannan structure in plants and how cellulose fibril structure evolved across species.
You will prepare plant cell wall materials, express and purify proteins to study binding and activity on polysaccharides, assist with reagent preparation, and may contribute to cellulose fibril analysis by cryo-EM.
