University of Warwick invites applications for a Ph D studentship to investigate nitrogen absorption and desorption in scrap-based EAF steelmaking, in collaboration with Tata Steel UK.

The project aims to develop a predictive model for nitrogen in melt, supported by advanced facilities at ASRC and WMG.

The stipend is provided for 3.5 years with eligibility restricted to Home fee status and UK domicile.

Start date in October 2026, with supervisors from University of Warwick and Tata Steel UK.
