We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy to join our research‑led team, delivering teaching across our BSc and MSc Sports Therapy programmes. You will contribute to a range of sports therapy and related modules, using your expertise to provide an outstanding student experience and support students in developing the knowledge and skills required for successful careers or further study.

You will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research activity, clinical supervision opportunities and knowledge exchange. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will support the continued development of our programmes and enhance the quality of learning, teaching and professional practice within the Department. There may also be an opportunity to undertake the role of BSc Sports Therapy Programme Leader, providing academic leadership and supporting programme development and quality enhancement in collaboration with colleagues and professional bodies.

You will be an enthusiastic and collaborative professional with expertise in Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Applied Sports Science, Musculoskeletal Health or a related discipline. You will have experience of teaching within higher education and a commitment to delivering an excellent student experience through evidence‑based approaches to learning and teaching. We welcome applications from academics and practitioners with backgrounds in sports therapy, physiotherapy, athletic training, applied sports science or related allied health professions.

You will bring current subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a commitment to supporting students’ academic, professional and personal development. You will also contribute to research, professional practice and knowledge exchange activities, helping to prepare graduates for successful careers within the health, sport and rehabilitation sectors.
